Reviewing Om Lines Yoga Touch.

I was just rushing to get to the next yoga class when I got stopped by a strange woman. She saw me dressed in leggings and a sports bra carrying a big yoga bag and approached with the question:
- Hey, where is good to go here for yoga? I am new in the city.
Believe it or not, but this exactly happened on the very same day when I published my first review here. With a big smile on my face, I mentioned that I have just started writing a blog with yoga recommendations and we exchanged our social media.
This moment made me realize that what I am doing has sense. I definitely want to keep on going because I can even find readers on the street!
This occurrence also inspired me to dedicate another review to the place where I was going at that moment - Om Lines Yoga Touch.
Om Lines is situated in one of the trendiest streets of Sant Gervasi - Eric Granados. Tempted by good Google reviews and convenient location, I first decided to choose Hatha Vinyasa with Verushka.
The studio is located in an apartment inside of a tenement, on the third floor (with a lift). You pass a small reception and then enter a big practice room. It is really nicely designed, simple but lovely. A minimalistic, spacious room with a lot of light and some plants makes the practice pleasurable and lets you focus on what’s most important without unnecessary distractions. The vibe is not so magical but really cosy. The changing room has a lot of space and even curtains so you can have some privacy. Another important aspect is cleanliness. It is easy to spot a high level of maintenance there.
Om Lines offers rather standard yoga classes (Hatha, Vinyasa and Relax). However, there is something very interesting for those who like to take their practice to another level and gain more strength. Fit for Yoga is a class based on functional training and will definitely prepare your body for better performance in all the asanas.
The teachers which I encountered there were very friendly and seemed passionate. Explanations were thorough so you could really get into the postures, but I wish instructors were more engaging.
Like any other studio, Om Lines has its yays and nays.
The main pros: multilevel classes, kind staff, cleanliness and cosy design.
On the other hand, there are some cons too. Firstly, I have to admit that big windows in this area may bring some noise which may be annoying during Savasana (relaxing, final posture). Another weak point is the fact that classes are only in Spanish (which not always is a bad issue). Lastly, as I mentioned before, I prefer when teachers correct students and get more involved.
This beautiful studio is definitely worth recommendation especially for Spanish speakers. I came there for practice, found peace and acceptance. Will be back for more!
